RECRUITMENT
Chi Omega is proud to be apart of Clemson University Panhellenic. We encourage every woman interested in taking the next step in her Clemson career to participate in formal sorority recruitment. During formal recruitment, participants will get the chance to visit all 13 chapters within our Panhellenic community to catch a glimpse into each sisterhood and have the potential opportunity to receive a bid from a chapter. The relationships made and the experiences had during recruitment truly have a lasting impact on the women and their Clemson University journeys. Recruitment registration will open on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 and will close on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. For more information and to register for formal recruitment, please visit Clemson University Panhellenic's official website:

A LETTER FROM OUR RECRUITMENT CHAIR:
Welcome to Chi Omega! I’m so glad you have found yourself on this page so you can learn more about our chapter here at Clemson. To my potential new members: Congratulations on deciding to attend the best university. Clemson’s student body is one of the most happy student bodies in the country. I wouldn’t ever want to go without my fellow tigers and sisters in Chi Omega.
I am honored to serve as Chi Omega’s recruitment chair this year. My first day of recruiting PNMs as a sophomore, was the day I decided I wanted to be Chi Omega’s recruitment chair. To be able to serve as this role in-person is so exciting and I truly can not wait. I encourage PNMs to educate themselves on all the amazing chapters here at Clemson, and stay positive and open minded throughout the whole process. Take a minute to reach out to our sisters, and other members of the Panhellenic community. We genuinely want to share our sorority experience with you and why we made the decision to go Greek!
The Chi Omega Symphony dates back to 1904. It represents Chi Omega’s six founding purposes: friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence and intellectual pursuits, community and campus involvement, and personal and career development. Our sister wrote “To be in the best sense democratic rather than exclusive and loveable rather than popular…” This line has always resonated with me because it makes me feel like I am part of something bigger than myself. That is one of the many reasons why I love Greek life and hope that all PNMs can find that feeling in a chapter.
I am so proud to be a part of our chapter here at Clemson. Our members are hard working, accepting and supportive. Not to mention, hilarious, kind and so smart. I seriously can’t wait for our sisters to shine during recruitment. Potential new members: I’m excited for you guys to take part in sorority recruitment. Be confident in who you are and what you believe in. We look forward to meeting you, and celebrating our new pledge class at the end of it all! Here’s to going Greek!
Love,
Maeghan Chase
