Scholarship is a top priority for Chi Omega Psi Kappa. One of Chi Omega's six purposes is Academic Excellence and Intellectual Pursuits. Our chapter proudly held the #3 GPA of a 3.791 on Clemson's campus for Fall 2019 & Spring 2020! Chi Omega expects each member to achieve a high scholarship and to develop to the fullest of her intellectual potential. Each chapter is required to set a definite scholarship average which each member must maintain in order to retain the social privileges of active membership.

In the Spring of 2020, over 80% of our sisters had between a 3.5 and 4.0 GPA. The President's List held 117 out of our 228 sisters who maintained a 4.0 GPA & the Dean's List held 69 of our sisters who maintained a 3.5-3.9 GPA.

Our sisters are in about every major on campus, from Biological Sciences to Education, and Nursing to Finance. We also have sisters who are members of the exclusive Clemson Honors College, Academic Fraternities, and Honor Societies.

As Foundation Ambassador, I assist in the chapter's fundraising efforts for the Chi Omega Foundation. Through Chi Omega, there are several national scholarship opportunities open to sisters. In addition, our chapter has the Psi Kappa scholarship, which is awarded to one member in our our chapter every year. The recipient of this scholarship embodies the Chi Omega Symphony both inside and outside of the classroom.

Yours truly,

Emma Durant

Foundation Ambassador
